Chief among the projects which the Heritage Publishing Section has adopted is the Digital Manuscript Library; the first CD-set of which comprises a collection of the rarest manuscripts in the BA, namely Qasīdat al-Burda- ‘The Garment Poem’ by al-Būsīrī, Dīwān Salāma bin-Jandal- ‘The Divan of Salāma bin-Jandal’, al-Zīj al-Jāmi‘ ‘The Comprehensive Ephemeris’ by Kūšiyār al-Jīlī, Ghiyāth al-Umam fī al-Tiyāth al-Zulam- ‘Nations’ Succor from the Madness of Darkness’ by al-Juwaynī, al-Badī‘ fī Naqd al-Ši‘r- ‘The Exquisite in Poetry Criticism’ by Usāma bin-Munqidh, al-Luma‘ fī al-Nahw- ‘Highlights in Grammar’ by Ibn Jinnī, al-Tārīkh al-Kabīr- ‘The Great History’ by al-Maqrīzī.
