 Released on the occasion of the opening of the
Manuscript Center's latest addition to the Heritage Publishing Section;
the CD Copying Unit by HE Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak. The Unit was established
upon a generous donation by Greece to the BA. The CD reviews the
Library's most remarkable holdings of Greek works and symbols. Among
which are: the gigantic salvaged statue of Ptolemy II (Philadelphuis), a
memorial of the Librarians of ancient Alexandria, as well as many statues
and works of art representing Queen Cleopatra, Goddess Isis, Homer,
Demetrius of Phaleron, Menander, to name but few.
